In this Twitter post, the author seems to juxtapose the cliche that the news has about the communist regime in North Korea. By offering a certain picture that represents the North Korean leader happy, the post offers a level of curiosity to read the blog post. The key word that is offered in the headline is rational and rational is defined based on or according to logic and according to Zeeshan Aleem, "The term "rational here means that a country's government is capable of making logical calculations about its goals and interests and determining how to achieve them based on the resources- economic, military, diplomatic, etc.- at its disposal". Here the columnist appealed heavily to Ethos toward the audience since the statement challenged and offered credibility for the "rational countries". Even though that statement appealed to ethos the whole article was based around Logos since the columnist added several examples from the Korean War and other hostile moments in history when North Korea threatened various other western nations. Overall, the way that social media has affected the way how the nation views other countries is tremendous since various bandwagons have been put in place that North Korea is evil and dangerous and several cultural references that offend several nations and their people is a growing concern that needs to be solved quickly. Finally, I've noticed that in every blog post on Vox each post offers a massive amount of evidence and personal observances that make this website unique and different than typical newsites since various newsites offer a minimal amount of textual evidence in comparison to Vox.
